University Systems and the UVic Computer Store are pleased to announce the opening of a Computer Help Desk location inside of the Computer Store in the Bookstore. This location will enhance the service provided to students, faculty, and staff by helping clients to find the right technology to meet their needs, offering setup assistance to configure new computing devices for use with UVic services, and troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.
The Computer Help Desk is able to streamline the process of moving to a new computer by assisting with software installations, configuring UVic wireless Internet, setting up your UVic email account, and transferring data from an old computer. If you encounter issues with your computer, the Computer Help Desk can troubleshoot the issue and facilitate a warranty repair.
